| "S-4" Roswell Was Only the Beginning! :: Port Town Publishing :: Novel by Jonathan Briggs |
|
You have just returned from a simple trip to the doctor. You drive
to the school where you teach and, though it is just past the noon
hour and the parking lot is full, the building is empty. Your small
mountain community, too, is deserted. More than 450 people, your
friends and neighbors, have simply vanished. As though this isn't
enough to ruin your day, you are then chased from the town by a
blue "death ray," which you later learn has the power to heal.
Aliens, you ask? Of course. Who else could accomplish such fantastic feats in only one day? "S-4" takes the reader from the small town of Maryville, Colorado, to the Nellis Air Force Base, to NORAD. And, oh yes--to the cryogenic deck of an alien mother ship, where millions of American children are being stored until they are needed. Luckily, we earthlings possess a weapon that promises to be highly effective against the aliens. Utilizing that weapon, however, will require the help of the greatest military minds in the U.S.--namely the President and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Joshua Westbrook's bold plan to kidnap these most powerful of all U.S. citizens hinges on the support of an equally powerful and unlikely group--the New York mafia. | |||||||
