| Small Beer Press :: Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A. |
| Small Beer Press sprang fully-formed into life in the year 2000. Previously, Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet had been put out under a different house name, a name that amused us, but was pretty much indecipherable to everyone else. We focus on short fiction--although we don't exclude the possibility of publishing novels or non-fiction in the future. We will do a couple of books a year, but only of good stuff. If we can't find any good stuff, we won't bother publishing anything. We also do chapbooks as we believe they are an important intermediate step between short stories and novels. We try and keep our stuff on the cheaper end to make them available to all, while still breaking even and paying our authors something. Our website can be found at http://www.lcrw.net. Thanks. | ||||||||

The magazine continues to be well-booked into the next millennium (we're still in the old one...), and future publications include a chapbook fable, Dead Cat Bounce, by Gerard Houarner, illustrated by GAK, and a poetry chapbook Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes, by Linda Addison, illustrated by several artists. | ||||||||
