Project Pulp Advertising
Since the site was redesigned and rereleased in May 1999, there has been a banner rotation system running at the top of every single page on the site other than the very front one. Here I have advertised on-site promotions and titles and some of Blindside's other endeavors, such as Vacancy Webzine, but have also sold advertisement to other folks, including authors advertising releases of their own (or sometimes their website), online magazines, other publishers, websites for writers, and any other number of categorization of website.

Advertising on Project Pulp is incredibly visible, and just as inexpensive. Check this out...

The going rate for banner advertising on the internet seems to be $10 per CPM, which means $10 per your banner's every one thousand exposures. This is a common rate for low frequency websites (in comparison to, say, Google or WebMD). But the whole point of buying advertising is to bring yourself a profit, not lose money. At Project Pulp, we want to make sure your bought advertising brings you back at least the revenue you spent on it, then some.

Which is why 1000 exposures for your banner on our website only costs you $5. This is an incredibly low rate, nearly ridiculous. I don't think you're going to find a rate anywhere else this low, don't pass it up.

Also, our audience is rather distinct. Most of the visitors to Project Pulp are avid readers, most of them of the speculative genre, particularly horror but also science fiction and fantasy. We have customers from all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Norway, Singapore, France, Australia, and others.

Project Pulp will also accept free run advertising. Instead of paying for a certain number of exposures up front, you can pay $5 and then let the banner run until you want it to stop. At that time Project Pulp will send you a bill for those exposures that ran over the 1000 pre-paid exposures, $5 for each 1000 you went over. Bills will be sent by PayPal, or you may send a check.

Initial advertising can be bought by secure online credit card, PayPal, check, or money order.

If you would like to advertise on Project Pulp, please e-mail me (projectpulp@blindside.net) and we will discuss matters and set you up with the best deal possible.
